Our story

NTXMUN began in 2024, when founder Neha Ramachandran set out to build a Model UN conference that would bring students from across Texas together to learn, debate, and grow — in an environment that stays supportive, and fun. In a short time the NTXMUN community has grown quickly, and the conference now ranks among the largest of its kind in Texas.

Alongside a wide range of committees, NTXMUN has taken on some of the most intricate crisis scenarios on the circuit, while keeping a real focus on developing newer delegates — its beginner committees are well-staffed and have turned out some of the strongest delegates in the region. At its core, NTXMUN is a community of people who love Model UN, running a conference that's every bit as enjoyable as it is meaningful.
